Tissue Paper Stained Glass
This is a fun and creative project to liven up any widow that gets direct sunlight.
Here is what you will need:
Cut tissue paper into squares that are roughly 1/2 to 1 inch across
Cut the construction paper into any shape you wish...This shape will be the frame for you stained glass window
Cut the construction paper shape a second time, this time about 1 inch inside the first cut. This will leave you with a 1 inch wide frame for your window
Place one piece of the contact paper on the table, with the sticky side up.
Place your stained glass window frame on the contact paper.
Place the cut up pieces of tissue paper on the contact paper, INSIDE the frame. It's OK (even good) if the tissue paper pieces overlap each other...This will provide a nice variation in color.
Place the second piece of contact paper on top of your stained glass window (sticky side toward the tissue paper), and cut off the excess contact paper on the outside of the frame
Tape your stained glass window art to a window...The sunnier the better!
